I also changed the colour of the 'M' in the background and made the opacity higher so it fits in with the design well. The colour of the text has been changed as well because the red font conflicted with the 'M' in the background.
In my next draft I am going to consider changing the background on the left page and possibly using effects to change the colour of the clothes on the subject to match the colour scheme.
Surely if somebody has bought the magazine then they would be entitiled to read the whole interview in the magazine. I think your QR code should show a link to an exclusive performance video instead. This will show greater interactivity. It doesn't necessarily need to lead anywhere, perhaps a rap video of someone else?

Thirdly, you need to address your use of fonts and font sizes here as your Headline isn't prominant and your text itself is too compact. Consider putting in a pulled quotation to break it up and identify the core facts in the article.
